Term Time only: 39 weeks + 3 weeks
37.5 hours per week 8am - 4pm, 5 days per week.
Salary Scale: ME12/13 Point 31 - 35 £39,582 - £43,815 per annum (Dependent on experience)

We are looking for a School Business Manager to join our successful and friendly school. This is a varied and exciting role, candidates must be enthusiastic, organised, approachable and hard working. They will advise on and implement the day-to-day support that enables the school to operate effectively and efficiently, and that allows other members of the leadership team to focus on teaching and learning, including leading on all aspects of Finance, Admin and HR.

The post will involve:

✔ Financial Management, including payroll
✔ Procurement and Contracts management
✔ Premises and Health and Safety management
✔Strategic working with the HT, SLT and Governors
✔ HR Management
✔ Policies, procedures and general support
✔ GDPR Compliance

We are looking for someone who:

has experience in leading and coordinating the delivery of business support services in schools or a similarly complex environment
● is familiar with strategic planning and decision-making
● has experience of negotiating and influencing at Senior Leadership and Governing Board level
● is an approachable, empathetic team player who holds high expectations of themselves and others.
● has financial management / accounting background or experience
● is highly ambitious and fully committed to children's achievement and the mission and vision of the school

Must hold DBS or apply for one
